Go to BuildMuscleBurnFat.info my FREE workout plan Build Muscle and Burn Fat FAST AS HELL! Keys to getting a six pack: You can have the greatest, most muscular set of abs in the world, but if they are blanketed by a layer of body fat, who cares. In order to rid yourself of the extra body fat around your midsection, you need to incorporate effective cardio sessions into your fitness plan. You cannot spot-reduce the midsection by doing extra ab exercises like crunches or sit-ups. You first must burn off the body fat through proper cardio to properly define the area. Abdominal training by itself will not do much. Cardio needs to be intense enough to do the trick. Three to four sessions a week of intense jogging, running, the Stairmaster, the elliptical, jumping rope, or biking should be enough to get the process in gear. Swimming, hiking, and taking aerobics classes are beneficial as well. Nothing beats jogging or running. It is the most intense, efficient, and effective method of burning calories. If running outside hurts your joints, try running inside on a treadmill or outside on a dirt path. It definitely is easier on the body. Again, you NEED three to four intense cardio sessions a week to help create a calorie deficit and help rid the body of the fat that covers your abs. Proper Nutrition: Do not sabotage your results in the gym by giving yourself a passport to pig out. Ridding the body of fat once and for all is accomplished by proper nutrition more so than

@jahallo9999 LOL! You want a farting video? I could edit together all the outtakes of me farting and make a 10min farting video! Not sure what it would do for my reputation though :) I better not do it!

  2. scooby1961 says:

@1971zanman I skipped a week because of the Labor Day holiday, I’m back on track for Monday :)

  3. scooby1961 says:

@baracuda771 My weight fluxuates +/- 3 pounds over the year and when you are fairly lean like I am, that little bit of weight makes a big visual difference.

  4. scooby1961 says:

@SuperNNNaturaL A very specific type of weight workout can count as cardio but its really tough, its called “Complexes” – search for it on the AskScooby Forum. Honestly, its way easier just to do the cardio :)

  5. @scooby1961 But some bitchez gotta get paaaaiid. thats why they sell programs. but you come along and ruin it for them, but i follow you all the time, and also change my physic. cheers scoob

  6. @scooby1961 Got it ;). Thanks.
Im lean and interested in getting ripped, so i will just do the 35min cardio(HIIT) in addition to my workout… I love doing cardio anyways 😉

  7. LearningToFly1000 says:

why do we love scooby so much?

  8. 1971zanman says:

    Hi Scooby,
    where have you been?
I am missing the motivation I get from your regular blog videos …
Looking forward to a new contribution!

  9. jahallo9999 says:

    Hi dear Scooby.

Can you please fart at the end of next video?

  10. Scooby, you deserve an award, for all the people you’ve helped, with your generous knowledge of fitness, health, and body building. You are a true inspiration and mentor.

  11. hey scooby!
ive been watching your videos since b4 summer started &I lost a good 30 lbs. i currently weigh 187 lbs. my goal is 160 lbs. my starting weight was 250 lbs in january! but right now im still a chunky kid & im havin difficulty reaching my goal i have a strict nutrition plan and i run 2-4miles monday-saturday. &workout for an hr evryday except sunday. i recently started all this cardio and different workouts about a month ago &im seeing no change. any advice? it gets me pretty depressed

  12. baracuda771 says:

Hey Scooby I noticed something after watching your beginner pull up video… Have you lost weight? Agreed it was over a year ago but it seems as if you lost a significant amount of (what little) body fat you had. I can see your abs much more clearly and notice slightly more vascular arms.

  13. reptilianskin says:

Hi Scooby. Could you do a review of Kyle Leon’s Somanabolic Muscle Maximizer? It smells fishy to me. I’ve heard of the 3 main body types before, but I don’t buy into eating and exercising for specific body types. There’s good nutrition, and bad nutrition, and muscles under stress will grow on any body type as an adaptive response to stress. And cardio and interval training burns fat over time for any body type.

  14. I want your hat o.o

  15. SuperNNNaturaL says:

Hey scooby, i have a little question, i need to loose a bit weight to show my abs more, i play volleyball ( 3/4 trainings per week ) and i do arms workout once every 2 days , beside that i dont have item for the cardio that you are saying is that any workout that works as cardio? Cheers scooby, love your videos!

  16. @MrCherryKirsche abs man its not really bad but noticible and i was wondering wether theres anything i can do like a specific exercise?

  17. scooby1961 says:

@Dario927 That is a very good question! I’m not sure. As soon as the workday is over, I can get started on writing a script and then filming tomorrow.

  18. scooby1961 says:

@kiyaras5 Burned more calories *during* the exercise or total over a 24 hour period? Makes a BIG difference which you are talking about, its the whole “Afterburner Effect” thing. Normal weightlifting does not trigger it, cardio does.

  19. scooby1961 says:

@GroovyTriplets Check out the “Travel Workouts” section of my website, its in the “Workout Plans” section. I cover travel nutrition there too.

  20. GroovyTriplets says:

    Hi scooby;

I’ve got a question that you might have given an answer to in one of your clips already but I have not found it.

If you go on holidays, or anywhere where you cannot workout for 1 to 2 weeks, should you adapt your nutrition or just keep following your diet ? And will you lose muscle anyway ? Alot ?

    Cheers mate

  21. what’s the topic of your next video Scooby?

  22. no Star Wars music?

  23. Hey SCOOBY!
I did just read one of the books you recommended, Bodybuiling revealed by Will Brinks. Learning the importance of nutrition was awesome!

However… he did say that bodybuilding burnd more fat/calories than cardio (little confused here).
Q: How much more is needed to know in order to compare my knowledge of nutrition with yours? 😛

  43. @Paranodieus it depends on how you eat… your ab muscles are already there but you might not be able to see them because you have fat covering them ..just download brandons highlife workout plan and it’ll tell you everything you need to know about getting ripped up abs

  44. @Compantino lol 3-6months my ass for very high…Most people already have abs..you just need to get rid of all tht fat. getting rid of a ton of body fat in 6 months is extremely hard. Abs take so much time, but its almost all diet, not ab exercises.

  45. Fuck nigga i do these workouts and im fucked i feel them deeps great workout man

  46. Compantino says:

@Paranodieus It depends on your bodyfat.

Very low: You should already have them.

    Low: 2 weeks.

    Medium: 1 month.

    High: 2-3 month.

    Very high: 3-6 month.
