A six pack diet plan should consist of four to five meals a day. This is important because it will help to curb the problem of overeating. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because your daily activities will make use of the calories consumed during breakfast. The key here is for you to eat right, eat small quantities as your body requires them. Excess or under-eating is going to work against you. You can consume fats but you have to keep them to their minimum requirement. They are required by the body for daily processes and therefore you should include them in your diet though in small quantities.
A good six pack diet should be low in carbohydrates. You should also consume proteins in moderation. You can even substitute them with fiber. A diet that is rich in fiber helps metabolism and also keeps you feeling full. When you feel full, you eat less and therefore you will not have to add any unnecessary calories.
You should avoid processed foods because they normally have more sugar than is required. Boiled and roasted foods are better than fried foods. Fish and egg whites are highly recommended. Tuna, salmon and chicken are also good. Although fruits are rich in fiber, some of them may not be good for the diet. Raw apples are said to be really good.
Substitute white bread with brown bread and also instead of white flour go for whole grain flour. Oatmeal, whole grains and sprouts are also recommended. You can for example club the spinach with roast chicken and brown bread to make a diet sandwich. You can also spruce up oatmeal by adding prunes and raisins. A six pack diet should also include drinking plenty of water.
